IIT Debate fest 2019

An intra-IIT debate fest has been organised by IIT Debating Club. This was the first debate fest at IIT. This fest included a parliamentary debate competition, a baroyari debate competition, a quiz and book review / movie review competition. Only running batch students have participated in this competition. Four teams participated in parliamentary debate. Each team had 3 members. In baroyari debate, quiz compitition and book/movie review about 40 students have participated. The winners of parliamentary debate team: 1. Ishita Sur Apon(BSSE 9th Batch) 2. Syed Ahmedul Kavi (BSSE 10th Batch) 3. Mushfiqur Rahman Chowdhury (BSSE 11th Batch) Redwan Redoy(BSSE 10th Batch) was awarded to as 'Promising Debater' in this debate fest. Winners of various events of the competition were given prizes at the end of the fest by the respected teachers of Institute of Information Technology. The program ended with a charming photosession.
