I am Dr Rezvi Shahariar. I received a B.Sc. Degree in Computer Science and
Engineering from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2006; and an
M.S. degree in Computer Science and Engineering in 2007 from the same
institution. After some time as a Lecturer at the University of Asia
Pacific, Dhaka, Bangladesh, I joined as a Lecturer at the Institute of
Information Technology, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Then, I
promoted to Assistant Professor, Institute of Information Technology,
University of Dhaka. I am now an Associate Professor here. I obtained a PhD
on "A Trust Management Framework for Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs)"
from Queen Mary, University of London (QMUL). Furthermore, I obtained a
Queen Mary Diploma of Researcher Development (Q-Dip). My research
interests include but not limited to wireless network analysis with an emphasis on trust,
security in VANETs, fuzzy logic, and the application of machine learning
to security.
